BRIDESMAIDS
Maid of Honor
Allison Nowlin
Hi there! I'm Allison, better known as Alli, Kim's MOH and younger sister. That's right, I survived childhood growing up with Kim as my big sister; please, hold the applause. I have had the pleasure of growing up alongside Kim, from rollerskating in her favorite kitty sweater and having fake concerts in bathrobes to being one of the best dressed persons I know; my memories with this amazing women are endless. Though we don't always see eye to eye (I am 3 inches taller), Kim has always been a role model and source of support for me.
She is one of the smartest, most caring and driven individuals I have ever met and I have learned so much from her. I am beyond excited to stand by her side as she marries her best friend. Thomas has been such a blessing in Kim's life and the opposite is just as true. Huge congrats to T+K, can't wait for the big day!
Bridesmaid
Meredith Melchior
Hello everyone! My name is Meredith and I am beyond proud to be Kim's bridesmaid. Kim and I met at the University of Arizona as we rushed Alpha Phi and have been best friends since day 1. In the duration of our 10 year friendship, I've been honored to lock Kim out of our New York apartment for an entire night, impress her by eating 1 pound of mashed potatoes and allow her to boss me around 84% of the time. In addition, Kim has saved my life (literally and figuratively) on more than one occasion and always answers my FaceTime calls. Kim is loving, kind and undeniably hilarious and I can't imagine my life without her. I couldn't be more excited to celebrate the union of two incredible people. Cheers to being #TAKNForever!
Bridesmaid
Jayne Appel
Hi! My name is Jayne, aka the SOG (sister of the groom) or better yet, bridesmaid to the beautiful bride, Kimberly! I am so thrilled to be a part of Tommy and Kim's day and have been so lucky to be able to watch their relationship evolve into a fun, romantic, thoughtful and caring eternal love. Some of my favorite things about mine and Kim's relationship are:
1) Having another girl in the Appel household! - waited a lifetime for this!
2) Being able to finally be able to say I have a sister!
3) Gaining a friendship that will last forever.
I first met Kim at a Stanford football game where the U of A Wildcat's were taking the Mighty Cardinal. Tommy introduced us, and I proceeded to call her "wildcat" for the rest of the weekend. It was love at first sight. Kim was whitty, fun (a sorority girl like me!) and challenged Tommy just the right amount that made them the perfect match for each other. I figured out that they were going to be great together and Kim fit in seamlessly with our family. I can't wait to celebrate their big day together, and welcome a wildcat to the Appel farm.
Bridesmaid
Danielle Becker
Hello there! I'm Danielle, more commonly referred to as "Becker", and I am one of Kim's bridesmaids. Kim and I immediately became friends when we missed the bus to Alpha Phi's pool party freshman year and were standing in front of our sorority house trying to figure out what we should do. Fortunately, we were swooped up by a few seniors who graciously fed us pizza and alcohol and it was then, that our bond was solidified. As a duo, we've accomplished quite a bit since that fateful day-- we beat some frat boys in jack/coke pong in triple overtime, mastered our Eller interviews, and even cheated death in the form of a big, black dog. Together we have shared some gut-busting laughs and emotional tears from Tucson all the way to NYC. Kim is not only one of my very best friends, but someone who I can truly depend on and know will always push me to be my best self. Tommy is lucky to have someone as incredible as Kim and I'm beyond excited to be a part of their day. See you all at the wedding- I'll be the short one tearing it up on the dance floor!

Co-Best Man
Nathaniel Appel
Hello everyone! My name is Nate, aka Nathaniel, aka Big Nate, aka Nate Dog. Some people know me as the best looking Appel brother out there, but that's just the rumor on the block. My brother Thomas, aka Tommy, aka Tom, aka Taw-Miss, has been and always will be a role model in my life. I have always looked up to him for guidance, help, and support for everything. He has shown me how to live life in a way that cannot be mimicked nor copied. Even though I might physically be the bigger brother, he has consistently proven that he is the boss of his younger brother, Nate. From hair noogies, holding bed covers over me to pretend I couldn't breathe, and hogging all the delicious food in the fridge, Tommy has always had the upper hand. Until this day, Tommy has always been there for me and I know he will always be there for his other best friend, Kim. Thanks Tommy for being such an amazing person in my life. I love you brother! Love, Your younger, bigger, and better-looking brother, Nathaniel.
Co-Best Man
Michael Appel
Tommy has always been a loving, loyal and understanding brother. One of my favorite memories I have with Tommy is going down to Capitola and playing in the surf and catching sand crabs and boogie boarding. I can't wait to celebrate with both of them on their big day and for many years to come and get another sister.
Groomsmen
Peter Turner
Hi I'm Peter, Tommy's groomsman. We first met in the dorms of UCSD and our friendship started mostly because Tommy was rather tall. Let me explain, during the first few weeks of college the peerless Billy Haye's reached out to me to play inner tube water polo on his team. He had heard numerous tales of my many escapades and accomplishments in the sport (I get to take some liberties when I write my own bio). And of course Billy went to the famed De La Salle high school with Tommy and he had already propositioned Tommy to join the team as our goalie. Now every single member of this team was carefully chosen based on their athletic abilities and unique contribution to the team. Tommy's being primarily that he had long arms and legs, making him a solid choice for goalie (also because he can't swim around that well). Anyway, it's a simple enough connection to make that had it not been for Tommy's oversized limbs we may never have met and I wouldn't have the truly exceptional friend I do today.
Now as a groomsman I'd like to help out the happy couple by making myself available to support any issues you might have leading up to the wedding. With that in mind, please don't hesitate to email my executive assistant with even the smallest concerns and I'll make sure he gets back to you right away. Can't wait to celebrate with everyone!

Joesph Appel
Hi my name is Joe, the "crazy" cousin. Although I've known Tommy since at least 1988, we didn't really start hanging out until after he could legally get into a bar. Since that time, Thomas and I have shared many memorable moments. One of my favorite memories was when we did Tough Mudder several years back. I love T-Money like the little brother I never had to beat up on and completely adore Kim. I am honored to be part of their special day, and am excited to celebrate with them on their wedding day!
